HR Director - Job description
Modern Group is recognized as one of the Material Handling industry leaders in sales, parts and service. We are leading distributor of forklifts, warehouse products, construction equipment, generators and stand by power generation serving our customers and employing individuals throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware since 1946.
This is position is in-office, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, including OSHA standards
- Handle employee relations issues and conduct investigations as necessary
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist with open enrollment processes
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees on various HR-related topics
- Collaborate with management to develop performance management processes and tools
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR
