Program Nurse – Drexel Hill
📍 Location: Drexel Hill, PA
📆 Schedule: Full-time (32 hrs./week), Monday–Friday, 9am-4pm on-call
Qualifications:
✅ RN or LPN licensed in Pennsylvania (valid, active license)
✅ Valid driver’s license (clean record for 3 years)
✅ Ability to lift 50 lbs.
About the Role:
The Program Nurse oversees medical care for individuals in residential group homes and Day Program. This role includes clinical care, case management, training staff, and ensuring compliance with medical protocols. You'll coordinate appointments, maintain accurate documentation, and advocate for residents' health needs. Prior experience with developmental disabilities is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality medical care, including medication management, follow-ups, and accurate documentation
- Train and support staff on medical needs, treatments, and protocols
- Attend medical appointments and collaborate with healthcare providers
- Monitor and assess residents for illness or injury; accompany individuals to ER visits as needed
- Communicate with team members, supervisors, families, and external healthcare facilities
- Participate in team meetings, compliance reviews, and training sessions
- Maintain updated records of hospital admissions, lab results, and physician reports
- Oversee MAR reviews, prescription renewals, and overall health planning
