Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist
This position is PART TIME
This person will be responsible for the entry and processing of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and reviewing of timesheets. They will also assist in month end close and other duties assigned by the Accounting Manager.
This position will play a key role within the accounting team by performing a variety of accounting tasks to ensure the accurate and timely recording of business transactions.
We are looking for someone organized and trainable, detail oriented, reliable, and focused.
- Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly
- Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely and accurate manner
- Review timesheets and upload to 3rd party payroll for processing
- Assist accounting staff in reconciling select general ledger accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries as needed
- Other office duties and accounting requests as needed such as AP / AR reports
