Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs in residential apartments. Including troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining apartment systems, appliances and facilities.
Routine Maintenance & Repairs
General repairs in apartments, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance issues.
Plumbing:
- Leaky faucets
- Running toilets
- Installation of toilets/supply lines
- Installation of faucets
- Clogged drains
- Unclogging resetting garbage disposals.
- Minor leaks
Electrical:
- Replacing light bulbs and fuses/circuit breakers.
- Installation/repairing of minor electrical outlets including GFCi
Appliances:
- Minor appliance repairs such as installing elements.
- Installation of appliances.
- Installation of water heaters
HVAC:
- Installation of thermostats.
- Installation of filters.
- Must be certified to work with refrigerant.
Other:
- Minor drywall repair of holes.
- Fabrication of window screens/installation of window screens.
- Adjusting doors and windows for proper fit.
- Installation of doors.
- Installation of door handles.
