Manager of Diagnostic Imaging – Austin, TX
We are seeking a Manager of Diagnostic Imaging to oversee radiology services, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership to manage a high-volume outpatient environment with various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, MRI, and interventional radiology.
Key Responsibilities
✔️ Maintain 24-hour accountability for imaging services and staff supervision
✔️ Develop, implement, and oversee policies and procedures to optimize workflow
✔️ Monitor and improve department performance and quality metrics
✔️ Support clinical staff and collaborate with nursing leadership for specialized patient care
✔️ Ensure compliance with state and national imaging standards
✔️ Manage financial operations and resource allocation efficiently
✔️ Oversee multiple locations, including off-site Free-Standing Emergency Departments (FSEDs)
✔️ Lead a team of 70-80 FTEs, fostering a positive and people-focused work environment
Qualifications
✅ 5 years of experience as a Technologist
✅ 2 years of supervisory experience in an imaging department
✅ Texas Medical Board MRT License (Required)
✅ ARRT Registered Radiographer (Required)
✅ BLS Certification (Required)
✅ Advanced certification in CT, MRI, Mammography, Cardio Vascular, or Quality Management (Preferred)
✅ Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology or related field
