Materials Buyer/Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Buyer/Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring raw materials, ensuring timely acquisition, and achieving the lowest cost of ownership. The ideal candidate will have experience in negotiating contracts, inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply chain management methods. Additionally, the candidate should have strong ERP skills.

Responsibilities:

• Procure raw materials
• Ensure timely acquisition of materials
• Achieve the lowest cost of ownership
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers
• Manage inventory levels
• Forecast demand for materials
• Implement supply chain management methods
• Proficient in ERP systems, Excel, and other related financial / accounting software. 

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Materials Buyer/Planner or similar role
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent inventory management skills
• Ability to forecast demand for materials
• Knowledge of supply chain management methods
• Strong ERP skills
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field
