POSITION OVERVIEW :
Immediate opening for an Inspector in our Thermal Processing / Heat Treating Division. The successful candidate will conduct mechanical inspections, perform physical testing on parts, and report quality results to support production operations.
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform hardness inspections, including flat, round, and irregularly shaped parts
- Calibrate and operate all hardness testing equipment
- Identify and report conditions that do not meet customer specifications
- Complete and issue certifications to meet industry specifications
- Interpretation of furnace charts and trends
- Use micrometers, calipers, and other gages as required
