Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Stitcher Operator or Machine Operator with applicable experience to join our team at our headquarters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining saddle stitchers to produce high-quality bound printed materials efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate saddle stitchers to meet production specifications.
- Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, alignment, and overall quality.
- Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Adhere to company safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and ensure smooth production.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience operating stitchers preferred but not required (Müller Martini, Heidelberg, or similar equipment preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets, specifications, and production schedules.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
