Job Title: Plant Manager

Job Overview: Modern Litho is seeking a Plant Manager to lead our 3rd shift. In this key role, you will manage the production team, ensure high-quality output, maintain safety standards, and optimize production workflows. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with a strong background in printing operations or manufacturing, and have the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all night shift production operations, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Lead and supervise a diverse team of operators and technicians.
- Manage equipment performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company protocols.
- Conduct quality control checks and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure material availability.
- Communicate production progress and challenges to the day shift team.
- Ensure customer jobs are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in commercial printing or manufacturing, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of offset and digital printing processes and bindery equipment.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- High school diploma required; relevant certifications in printing or management are a plus.
- OSHA certification or similar safety training is a bonus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work the 3rd shift (Monday-Thursday, 9:00 pm - 7:00 am).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a noisy, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Compensation:
- $80k - $100k annually
