Job Description : As a Prinergy Operator, you will be trained to handle all aspects of prepress operations, including creating impositions, proofing and making plates. You will operate and maintain the pre-press equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality plates for press production. This role also involves troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with the plate-making process once trained.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate the Prinergy workflow system, including file preparation, processing, and imposition.
- Produce high-quality plates for press production using the Magnus 800 Plate Machine and other equipment.
- Ensure plates meet all quality standards and specifications, verifying accuracy of impositions and color separations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve light mechanical and technical issues with the equipment.
- Maintain pre-press equipment to ensure optimum performance and uptime.
- Communicate effectively with the production team to ensure timely and accurate plate delivery.
- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure consistency and precision.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of prepress software and hardware.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the prepress department.
