Senior Power Electronics Engineer
We’re seeking a seasoned engineer with a passion for designing innovative power conversion solutions. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a cross-functional technical team to develop and optimize products for various vehicle applications. You’ll also provide ongoing support for existing products, ensuring reliability and performance across the entire lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the design and development of advanced power conversion systems for multiple vehicle platforms.
- Support existing product lines by troubleshooting issues and proposing improvements.
- Create hardware specifications, circuit designs, operational theories, and choose appropriate components based on product requirements.
- Work closely with PCB and Mechanical Engineers to maximize efficiency, contain electromagnetic interference (EMI), and manage thermal constraints.
- Partner with Software Engineers to outline control and protection strategies for power stages.
- Collaborate with Product Development Engineers to analyze test outcomes and help resolve non-compliance issues.
- Research and recommend replacements for power electronic components nearing obsolescence or end-of-life status.
