Quality Assurance Manager

Summary:

This position will utilize skills, experience, and knowledge to initiate, establish and sustain methods for controlling the quality and integrity of all systems, processes, and procedures related to the production of manufacturing components. The successful candidate will drive a lean culture and problem-solving mindset throughout the team while aggressively driving improvement initiatives to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Quality Assurance Department, developing and implementing processes using lean manufacturing principles.
• Oversee quality systems and personnel management, including ensuring processes are in place for accreditation maintenance.
• Manage non-conformance processes, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with customers, representing the company during audits and maintaining long-term relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement and handle problem-solving, with a focus on practical, data-driven solutions.
• Interpret blueprints and technical documents to meet manufacturing standards.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required (Engineering or technical degree preferred).
• Experience in managing a quality department in a manufacturing setting (minimum of five years of supervision).
• Deep understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Strong background in Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.
• Established relationships with OEMs and 1st-tier suppliers for at least five years.
