What are the responsibilities and job description for the Downtown KC Floor Tech position at Modern Maintenance, Inc.?
Modern Maintenance, Inc. is looking for an experienced floor technician for an office building downtown Kansas City. Must have experience with walk behind scrubbers and must have reliable attendance.
Wage: $17/hr. $250 Sign-On Bonus after 4 months of employment
**This role is for Union Buildings. Union Dues are required after 90 days of employment**
Shifts:
- 5:00PM - 9:00PM, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
- Dust mop and sweep floors
- Run walk behind scrubber nightly
- Carpet cleaning as needed
- Cleaning of garage area including removing trash and sweeping
- Maintain floor equipment and report any repairs to management
- Perform other janitorial duties as required
Physical and Other Requirements
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Professional and well-groomed appearance
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand/walk for the entirety of the shift
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
