Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeepers in a Behavioral Health setting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including hospitals and commercial facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all occupants and visitors.
Wage: $18/hr. $250 Sign-On Bonus after 4 months of employment
Shift: Rotating shifts. You will have 2 days off per week. Every other weekend off. Schedule made 1 month in advance.
Full-Time hours:
7:00AM-3:30PM
8:00AM-4:30PM
11:00AM-7:30PM
1:30PM-10:00PM
Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for all areas of the hospital, including public spaces, offices, and patient rooms:
- Handle biohazard materials and bodily fluid
- Isolation precautions for various infections
- Maintain the cleanliness of closets and storage areas
- Respond to cleaning requests via handheld radios and pagers
- Perform other janitorial duties as required
Physical and Other Requirements
- Must get TB skin test and take drug screen
- Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Stand/walk for the entirety of the shift
- Bend/kneel/crouch/climb
- Professional and well-groomed appearance
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
