Wage: $23/hr. $500 Sign-On Bonus after 90 days of employment with perfect attendance
Shift: Tuesday ? Saturday: 6:00AM ? 2:30PM
Since 1978, Modern Maintenance, Inc. has provided commercial janitorial and facility management services to a wide range of companies across the United States. We are searching for Housekeeping Lead for large warehouse facility in Salt Lake City. The role of the Lead would be to ensure staff is maintaining housekeeping standards, while following safety guidelines. This is a position for those who are experienced in housekeeping, but wanting more leadership responsibilities and growth.
Wage: $23/hr. $500 Sign-On Bonus after 90 days of employment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Site Manager with monitoring janitorial staff of about 20 employees.
- Respond to work orders and client requests in a timely manner, ensuring that each task is followed through to completion.
- Enforce and demonstrate proper safety standards.
- Assign routes to janitorial staff and problem solve to cover any staff shortages when needed.
- Ensure that all equipment is running and in good condition.
- Performs other janitorial duties as required
- Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Stand/walk for the entirety of the shift
- Bend/kneel/crouch/climb
- Occasionally work outside in all weather conditions
- Industrial work environment include exposure to moderate noise levels
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record required
Responsibilities:
- Empty trash containers
- Clean bathrooms
- Clean offices
- Dust, mop, and sweep hard floors
- Clean floors with hose and/or floor scrubber
- Utilize lock out/tag out
- Exterior cleaning to include along building and fence lines in all weather conditions
- Help keep closets and storage areas organized
- Performs other janitorial duties as required
