We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team at Modern Maintenance, Inc. This position is vital for maintaining cleanliness and order in large commercial facilities. Your contributions will ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our clients and their employees.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Buff and polish floors as needed to maintain a professional appearance.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
