Description:
A warm and welcoming family in Chappaqua, NY is seeking a professional and experienced Full-time nanny and Household Manager to help support the running of our household with afternoon/evening childcare duties. Responsibilities include daily food and meal preparation, cooking for the kids, errands like managing groceries, pack lunches during the week, light weekday cleaning up after dinner and around the house, household laundry, organizing, and overseeing other household chores. It also includes going to kid's appointments, help with homework, pick-ups after school, feeding, bathing and making them ready for bedtime. Occasional overnight stays if the parents are traveling, morning routine and drop offs on those days.

The ideal candidate is someone who is well organized and truly loves children with experience with toddlers and enjoys physical /outdoor activity with kids. They have job experience balancing both childcare and keeping an home organized/running well. Someone who is enterprising, proactive, who realizes when something needs to be done and takes initiative. Clear communication and follows direction but also may have suggestions on how things could be done better. Stellar references and preferably someone who has stayed with a family for a meaningful period of time.
With at least 15 years of professional experience, they are knowledgeable and skilled as a family assistant or household manager in addition to being a nanny.
