Day Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm
Job Description:
The Assembler read and interprets work orders and takes instruction from the Assembly Supervisor. This position would be responsible for assembly of components required in the manufacturing and fabrication to form final products built by the company. They would assist other manufacturing employees to ensure work orders are completed to meet the timelines set out by management. The quality of the work requires supervision and is inspected on a regular basis by the supervisor.
Position Duties and Primary Responsibilities:
- Receives general instructions from Assembly Supervisor
- Assembles components for bungalows, mast and Ladders or lights with accuracy and meets quality required for superior product assembly
- Screw, clip, glue, bond, or otherwise assemble parts and components to form final products
- Able to read and understand work orders and completes work in a timely manner
- Maintains required productivity levels (efficiency & utilization)
- Follows and maintains knowledge of all Safety and Health standards
- Performs various housekeeping duties
- Performs other work/tasks/duties assigned over the course of employment as deemed necessary to support the needs of the business which are not listed above. Work/tasks will be assigned through the employee’s manager/immediate supervisor or by senior leadership.

Education, Training & Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- 1 years of related work experience, preferred
- Proficient English written and verbal communication skills and be able to read and understand work orders
Working Conditions:
- This position requires walking, sitting or standing for extended periods of time
- Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist, carry 50 pounds, and push and/or pull up to 20 pounds
- Must have the ability to climb ladders and/or stairs
- Bending, reaching, kneeling, stretching, and working overhead
- Handling, feeling, and gripping
- Repetitive work
- Fast paced environment
- Exposure to potential hazards, therefore, protective clothing and equipment required such as steel-toed safety boots and a welding helmet
