Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose issues with HVAC and refrigeration systems through observation, testing, and setup procedures.
- Disassemble and reassemble commercial HVACR equipment to perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to service equipment and mechanical systems.
- Complete electronic documentation of service tasks, materials used, and labor hours.
- Explain service charges and work performed to customers' satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory stock on service vehicles.
- Reconcile work order documents, vendor packing slips, and weekly timesheets for supervisor review.
Qualifications & Requirements:
5 years of commercial HVACR experience.
- Valid A or B HVACR license is preferred.
- Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications for proper installation and repair.
- Valid EPA Certification and required state registrations.
- Pass drug screening.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Stable work history demonstrating responsibility and professional growth.
- Proficiency in using gauges, meters, measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with peers, supervisors, and customers.
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and adhere to all company safety requirements.
