A wonderful family, currently recovering from wildfires, is seeking an experienced teacher or tutor to join them on an exciting travel schedule. If you're a private teacher who loves adventure and can bring structure and normalcy to a family on the move, this position is for you! You'll start your journey in New Zealand, where the family is currently based. The family's home is fully staffed, including one of our full-time nannies. This role is perfect for a teacher who can keep the children engaged in their studies while exploring new places.
Responsibilities :
- Provide structured, engaging, and adaptive lesson plans for the children, ensuring they stay on track academically.
- Collaborate with the family's full-time nanny and other staff to maintain a consistent routine for the children.
- Adjust teaching methods to fit the varying schedules and locations (New Zealand, New York, Los Angeles, Colorado, etc.).
- Foster a positive learning environment that balances academics with real-world experiences.
- Communicate regularly with parents to discuss academic progress, challenges, and upcoming plans.
