Position Summary

We are seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to join our senior leadership team and drive sales growth by building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting Modern Mold & Tool’s advanced manufacturing capabilities. This role is ideal for a professional with technical expertise in manufacturing – specifically injection molding – and a passion for new business development.

Responsibilities

Generate and Qualify Leads : Develop effective lead generation strategies and qualify leads to ensure viability and alignment with company capabilities.
Prepare and Deliver Competitive Quotes : Collaborate with internal teams to create accurate and compelling proposals that meet customer requirements while aligning with company goals.
Negotiate and Close Sales : Lead contract negotiations, addressing client needs and objections to secure profitable new business.
Manage the Sales Pipeline : Manage and grow the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups, accurate forecasting, and achievement of revenue targets.
Contribute to Strategic Initiatives : Provide market insights, customer feedback, and sales performance data to support strategic planning and decision-making at the organizational level.
Sales Management. Direct sales team and develop manufacturers reps.

Qualifications

Proven sales success in the plastics manufacturing industry.

Self driven, well-organized, and hard-working.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.

Technical understanding of injection molding processes and materials.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Willingness to travel to meet customers and attend industry events.

Sales management experience.
