Modern Pest Services is currently seeking a Commercial Account Manager to join our sales team supporting Knox and Lincoln Counties.
This B2B-focused role allows for unlimited book of business growth within your territory, while rewarding you for taking an innovative and customer-centric approach to service selling. If you’re motivated by winning new business, cultivating relationships with clients, and developing your skills in a metric-driven outside sales environment, this role is for you!
As a Commercial Account Manager, you will:
Grow the number of commercial clients in your sales territory.
Sell Modern's pest management service programs to commercial, institutional, industrial, and municipal facilities. This includes such facilities as grocery stores, restaurants, food distribution centers, food processing plants, hotels, motels, hospitals, nursing homes, pharmaceutical houses, research facilities, retail stores, management companies, apartment/condominium communities, department stores, and government buildings.
Generate leads from advertising and passive referrals in addition to developing new clients within your sales territory.
Be responsible for timely and accurate reporting to the Vice President of Sales utilizing Salesforce as a CRM. Reporting will include sales calls made, proposals submitted, and disposition of prospects.
Provide timely and accurate information and paperwork to the appropriate service center for rendering services sold.
Operate and maintain an assigned vehicle in accordance with all motor vehicle laws, company policies and manufacturer's recommendations.

Schedule: Monday - Friday
Location: This position is primarily based out of our Katahdin branch located in Augusta, ME. Remote hybrid work schedule available.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Prior sales experience with a proven track record preferred.
Have or be able to learn practical and technical knowledge of duties, functions, service, and product offerings, terminology, work procedures, systems, and company policies.
State driver's license required.
Must have excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
