Modern Polymers in Cherryville is currently looking for experienced a Mold/Die Technician
Responsibilities
Perform mold changes, mold preps and/or set ups on custom molding and related machines
Set up equipment and fixtures
Assist with Material Handler responsibilities
Perform basic maintenance/troubleshooting of equipment, including cleaning nozzle tips, making water lines and cleaning machines
Write maintenance work orders
Setup equipment during changeovers including air tools, date stamps, conveyors, etc
Operate lift truck and forklift
Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
High school diploma is required
Mechanical aptitude
Excellent communication skills
Good problem-solving skills
Summary
As a Mold Technician, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and abilities . Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your primary responsibilities will include change/prep molds, conducting mold quality inspections, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Your mechanical skills, will enable you to produce high-quality molded products.
