Modern Remodeling Inc. was founded in 1990 and is a leader in the Restoration industry. Our focus is on providing the customer with a positive experience throughout life cycle of the project. We are looking for an Estimator to join our Team who is knowledgeable, customer service oriented, dedicated, and hard working. Estimator job responsibilities include scoping job sites, creating estimates using estimating software, working with customers on selections/upgrades and obtaining approval of the project.
Compensation
- Competitive salary and commission structure, end of year personal Sales Bonus and Profit Sharing designed to reward top producers.
- Compensation is based on sales performance and ranges from $40k to $100k
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Meet with customers to conduct onsite inspections and scope generation.
- Meet all service standards set forth by the client or the company.
- Estimate each loss using a 3rd party estimating software, Xactimate (as required).
- Work closely with insured and interested parties to obtain agreement and close opportunity.
- Ensure each project achieves a minimum gross profit margin as determined by company standards.
- Assist customers with selections and upgrades
- Communicate and document any change orders and insurance supplements.
- Build and maintain business relationships with insurance adjusters, brokers, and TPA’s.
- Meet Net Promoter Score of minimum monthly average of 60.
- Closing the Loop 100% of the time within 24 hours.
Candidate Requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of our main operating systems; Xactimate
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Outgoing and strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to coordinate multiple jobs and tasks within the same time frame
- Ability to work in high stress situations and maintain composure
- Ability to climb roofs and carry 50lbs
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
- Sales and project estimating experience
- Industry certifications (IICRC and Lead)
- Experience with writing estimates in Xactimate
