This role will be responsible for providing flight test engineering expertise to advanced hypersonic weapon system development. Key responsibilities include:
This role requires a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, science or related field with a minimum of 1 (one) year experience; 5 (five) years of related experience highly desired. Active Secret Clearance; US Citizenship required. Excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products with emphasis on MS Project and/or any other scheduling programs are also required.

Job Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for providing flight test engineering expertise to advanced hypersonic weapon system development. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as Assistant Test Director for instrumentation and data collection assets
- Participating in flight test event planning, test execution, data management, data collection and data distribution
- Reviewing test objectives, plans and other required documentation
- Coordinating and providing requirements for test venues, test assets and participants across the DOD community
- Preparing countdown checklists, supporting test planning products and coordinating analysis activities.
- Supporting mission execution team training events
- Applying technical expertise to assess test range, weapon system or technology project readiness for testing and advising senior government personnel on test readiness
- Preparing status reports and briefing for mission execution events
- Preparing mission execution schedules, logistics coordination and track risks
