• Assist in requirement solicitation and requirement management.
• Develop squadron MBSE processes, to include requirement management tool integration with MBSE tools.
• Develop squadron MBSE training program; Author clear training plans for new team members based on their position’s required level of comprehension.
• Advocate MBSE best practices to squadron leadership.
• Develop and maintain 445 TS user facility architecture model.
• Collaborate on AFTC-level model-based test and evaluation framework.
• Develop JSE customer model-based test ROEs (test planning, data/program management, reporting).
• Collaborate with configuration management POC to ensure site architecture model is a reliable configuration management source of truth.
• Collaborate across JSE enterprise on MBSE efforts. Advocate the T&E perspective to the program office-level.
• Engage with units across AFTC on digital engineering efforts, applying lessons learned to JSE where applicable.

Required:

• Minimum 8 years of engineering background with engineering degree

• Experience with progressively complex projects in the realm of digital engineering

• Familiarity with Cameo Systems Modeler

• Understanding of DoD security and IT infrastructure

• Attain SYSML and OCSMP Certification Level I & II within 1 year of employment
• Possess and uses excellent written and oral communication skills as well as persuasion skills to advocate for various stakeholder needs

Desired:

• Master's degree in systems engineering

• ASEP certification or higher

• Experience working with aircraft simulators and networks

• OCSMP Certification Level III & IV

• Proficiency in Cameo Systems Modeler

Education Requirements:

• BS in Engineering (aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer) Computer Science, or other science based curricula

• MS in engineering/science or related field preferred or CSEP certification with 4 years of experience in DoD acquisitioons desired

• Other technology related degrees and certifications maybe considered on a case-by-case basis.

Travel:  

Travel may be up to 10% 

Clearance Requirements:

Candidate must be able to qualify for and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.

The pay range for this position in California is $120,000/year to $180,000year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
