In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced aircraft systems through rigorous testing and evaluation processes. Your experience in applying DoD engineering principles will be crucial in improving weapon systems and ensuring compliance with safety and design standards.

Technical Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Applying knowledge and experience in DoD engineering principles, criteria, and common engineering/scientific principles, processes, and procedures to improve performance and sustainability of existing and future AF and joint service weapon systems USAF systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles.
• Assessing impacts of EW systems design and implementation on Air Force Sustainment and Intelligence infrastructure.
• Reviewing program verification activities and product designs for EW systems criteria compliance and assessing airworthiness certification and system safety.

Education and Experience

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• 5-8 years experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
• Bomber, fighter, or ISR platform experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or computer science from an accredited institution required.
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or computer science from an accredited institution required.
