Technical Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Applying knowledge and experience in DoD engineering principles, criteria, and common engineering/scientific principles, processes, and procedures to improve performance and sustainability of existing and future AF and joint service weapon systems USAF systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles.
- Assessing impacts of EW systems design and implementation on Air Force Sustainment and Intelligence infrastructure.
- Reviewing program verification activities and product designs for EW systems criteria compliance and assessing airworthiness certification and system safety.
Education and Experience
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- 5-8 years experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
- Bomber, fighter, or ISR platform experience.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or computer science from an accredited institution required.
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or computer science from an accredited institution required.
