Responsibilities:
This role involves working with a small, distributed team to build and maintain a high-fidelity cloud environment. The purpose of this environment is to streamline the acquisition process between the stages of Analysis, Prototyping, Enterprise Testing, and Program of Record Transition. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, implementing, and managing networking technologies using Hybrid SD-WAN
- Developing Networking solutions in the cloud with an emphasis on underlay and overlay architectures
- Support the software engineering team with managing SD-WAN nodes via API's
- Support the software engineering team with gathering metrics using SD-WAN API's
- Troubleshooting and resolve network issues
- Automate infrastructure using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and CDK
- Ensuring security and compliance
- Collaborating with a National Team of Subject Matter Experts
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technologies or related field. Network Certifications and experience will be considered in lieu of education. Active Top Secret (TS) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility is required for this role.
