Responsibilities

As an Launch Support SME with MTSI, you will apply knowledge and expertise in ensuring the successful development, integration, and launch of advanced space systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, processing, and execution of classified weapon system launches, ensuring all activities are conducted with precision and adherence to security protocols
• Provide expert guidance on the design and testing of space systems to ensure seamless integration with launch vehicles
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine launch plans, schedules, and processes
• Oversee the development and design process of launch vehicles, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives
• Coordinate with key agencies and stakeholders to facilitate the successful development and launch of space systems
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of space systems and launch vehicles to ensure performance and reliability
• Develop comprehensive documentation and reports detailing launch plans, processes, and outcomes
• Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in space launch support and integration

Qualifications

Required:

• Expert in classified weapon system launch planning, processing, and execution
• Highly knowledgeable in the processes and products required to successfully design and test a space system to ensure successful launch vehicle integration
• Highly knowledgeable in the launch vehicle development and design process, schedule, and key agencies

Desired:

• Highly Desired: past or present experience with SSC or mission partner space control or space situational awareness mission area programs

Education Requirements:  

• BS/BA along with a minimum 12 years of relevant experience

Clearance Requirements:

• Active Top Secret, SCI eligible.
• Eligibility for access to SAP Information.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

Location/Travel Requirements:

• Place of work is El Segundo, CA
• May require travel up to 10% of time within the continental United States.

The pay range for this position is $180,000/year to $230,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract wages, job- related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location. Salary : $10,000 - $230,000
