What are the responsibilities and job description for the Missile Defense Systems Architect position at Modern Technology Solutions, Inc.?
Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise on missile defense activities, including adversary capabilities, systems engineering, and evaluation.
- Define and evaluate Missile Defense System (MDS) trade capability space envelope, architectural performance metrics, and other high-level performance metrics as applicable.
- Evaluate the adequacy of the current MDS to include ballistic, hypersonic, and cruise missile defensive architecture to counter the threat and recommend courses of action for concept of operations, system improvements, and identify alternate strategies for affordable, cost-effective, and technically advanced systems.
- Evaluate and adapt analysis of Allied Missile Defense systems in defense of the Unified Command Theaters; assess how to incorporate those allied missile defense systems into U.S. missile defense systems to provide a more robust defense.
- Support, evaluate, analyze, and develop technical recommendations through exchanges with FFRDCs, UARCs, and OGAs to provide input on program process and technical improvement opportunities.
