Job Description:
Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with Hybrid Cloud SDWAN experience to join our small, energetic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing networking technologies using Hybrid SD-WAN. This role requires strong understanding of SD-WAN and Cloud integration for the DoD, as well as experience with Cisco networking technologies and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Designing, implementing, and managing networking technologies using Hybrid SD-WAN
- Developing Networking solutions in the cloud with an emphasis on underlay and overlay architectures
- Support the software engineering team with managing SD-WAN nodes via API's
- Support the software engineering team with gathering metrics using SD-WAN API's
- Troubleshooting and resolve network issues
- Automate infrastructure using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and CDK
- Ensuring security and compliance
- Collaborating with a National Team of Subject Matter Experts
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience as a Network Engineer or Architect. Strong leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills are essential for this role. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also required. Experience integrating AWS and Microsoft Azure networks for DoD, Network Certifications, Cloud SD-WAN experience (Cisco, Juniper), and Python expertise are highly desirable.
