Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Operations Analyst to provide operations analysis and modeling support for the Air Force Research Lab. As an integral part of a combined government/contractor team, you will develop capabilities for the Department of the Air Force.
**Responsibilities:**
• Provide operational analysis and modeling expertise with a focus on diverse technology areas.
• Perform research through operational analysis, leveraging modeling and simulation of systems and subsystems.
• Participate in strategic planning of model investments, system architectures, and requirements development.
• Evaluate proposed projects for feasibility and applicability to relevant military mission areas and related activities.
• Identify and advocate for resources and provide technical information and analysis to recommend solutions and influence decisions.
• Interface with the intelligence community to identify threats to US multi-domain kill chains.
• Lead creation of analytic trade space to understand US capability gaps.
• Ensure accuracy of analysis trade space with regard to tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Work with engineers/scientists to refine analysis plans of objectives to aid technology development.
• Assist in the annual program planning and prioritization of analysis topics.
• Communicate technically complex material to senior decision makers and major stakeholders.
• Work closely with program managers, lead project engineers, and program teams.
• Up to 20% travel in support technical interface exchange meetings.
**Qualifications:**
• 10 years experience with operations analysis or Modeling and Simulation.
• Experience working US Air Force Warfare Center.
• Experience developing and working large force exercises.
• Understanding of air systems survivability and lethality assessments.
• Experience with DoD acquisition, requirements planning and mission design.
• Experience working with intelligence community organizations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytic acumen.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
• Good interpersonal skills in an environment with top tier coworkers.
• Bachelor's degree is required, specific STEM discipline (e.g Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) desired.
• A Master's degree in a similar field is highly desired.
