(MTSI) is seeking a self-motivated, inquisitive, and collaborative engineer to perform software reverse engineering, complex device reverse engineering (CDRE), digital forensics, and digital modeling on digital devices. The candidate will perform in-depth forensics analysis of captured digital data, minor enhancements to the existing digital models, reverse engineering on foreign materiel printed circuit boards (PCBs), and other related activities. As a Reverse Engineer with MTSI you will participate in a larger team to investigate and understanding foreign materials. Specific responsibilities include : software reverse engineering, complex device reverse engineering (CDRE), digital forensics, and digital modeling on digital devices. Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to : Hardware analysis, subsystem-level test and evaluation of electronic systems, test design and data analysis, and technical documentationReverse engineering hardware and software componentsBuilding representative hardware and software modelsIntegrating hardware and software capabilities into a test capability QualificationsRequired : BS and 5 years of related professional experience, or a master’s degree and 2-5 years of experience.Understanding of electrical engineering concepts, particularly embedded systems, circuit analysis, and guidance / navigation / control systems.Experience with lab tools, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, data acquisition systems, and digital multimeters.Ability to reverse-engineer electronic systems, guidance / navigation / control, and conduct technical comparisons to previously analyzed hardware.Experience performing vulnerability analysis of software, hardware, and network communicationsAbility to read and generate engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and functional block diagrams of components, subsystems, and complete systems.Ability to organize and prepare comprehensive technical reports.Ability to effectively prepare and deliver technical briefings.Strong interpersonal skills to support interaction with a diverse technical team of Government and contractor personnel.Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook).Desired Requirements : Experience with embedded systemsExperience with x86, ARM, PowerPC assembly language programmingExperience with programming languages such as C, C , python,Experience with reverse engineering tools like IDA Pro, Kali, OllyDbg and Wireshark Education Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or relevant technical field.Clearance Requirements : TS clearance with SCI eligibilityU.S. Citizenship is required for this position.#LI-JW1#LI-Onsite#FME
