Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to support the performance and reliability of advanced aircraft systems through rigorous testing and evaluation processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying DoD engineering principles to improve weapon systems and ensuring compliance with safety and design standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Exhibit and apply knowledge and experience in DoD engineering principles, criteria, and common engineering/scientific principles, processes, and procedures to improve performance and sustainability of existing and future AF and joint service weapon systems USAF systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles.
- Assess impacts of EW systems design and implementation on Air Force Sustainment and Intelligence infrastructure.
- Review program verification activities and product designs for EW systems criteria compliance and assess airworthiness certification and system safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- 5-8 years experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
- Bomber, fighter, or ISR platform experience.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or computer science from an accredited institution required.
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or computer science from an accredited institution required.
