Responsibilities

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Organization (ATO) Cybersecurity Program, Engineering, and Technical Support Services.  The scope of this Task Order includes strategic management consulting, subject matter expertise, and analytical support to facilitate end state organizational and functional cybersecurity capabilities in support of FAA Air Traffic Control Facilities to include Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCC), Terminal RADAR Control Centers (TRACON), Air Traffic Control Towers (ATCT), other control centers and associated radar and communications equipment. Products derived from the effort will include the collection of data and creation of actionable artifacts needed to develop, transform and mature the organization’s capabilities.

• Applies current computer science technologies to the design, development, evaluation, and integration of computer systems and networks to maintain system security and provide information assurance.
• Provides security engineering and integration support to internal and external customers.
• Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, electronic data traffic, and network access.
• Uses encryption technology; penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies; and information technology security research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in information assurance, information management, information technology, computer science, or degree in related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
• Industry recognized cybersecurity certification

Clearance Requirements:

• Active Secret Clearance

The pay range for this position in Washington DC is $145,000/year to $175,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract rates, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the Washington DC Wage Transparency Act.
