Responsibilities
- Determine, plan, and delegate tasks on major autonomy software developmental efforts for autonomous systems development.
- Lead and guide the development of autonomous systems software for teams of Group 4/5 UAS.
- Collaborate in consortium-style settings with multiple contractor and government participants.
- Develop strong communications and collaboration skills and familiarity working in remote/distributed team environments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience.
- Highly skilled in information technology and equipped with significant problem-solving and leadership abilities. Fluency in multiple programming languages is strongly desired.
- Deep knowledge of software-related topics such as database design, content management systems, and enterprise service bus architecture.
- Broad experience in software development for complex military systems, incorporating systems of systems integration and adaptation of novel approaches to existing military systems.
- Familiarity with simulation techniques and integration of software systems with government-owned simulation environments.
- Knowledgeable with systems engineering practices, including Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML.
- Ideal candidate has experience in the development of autonomy and/or software systems that interact with autonomy.
Education Requirements
Required: B.S. in Engineering, Software Development or equivalent; prefer to have M.S.
Clearance Requirements
Active SECRET clearance with TOP SECRET and SCI Eligibility.
Additional Requirements
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
