About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Flight Test Engineering Expertise Lead to join our team in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for providing flight test engineering expertise to advanced hypersonic weapon system development, acting as Assistant Test Director for instrumentation and data collection assets, participating in flight test event planning, test execution, data management, data collection and data distribution, reviewing test objectives, plans and other required documentation, coordinating and providing requirements for test venues, test assets and participants across the DOD community, preparing countdown checklists, supporting test planning products and coordinating analysis activities, supporting mission execution team training events, applying technical expertise to assess test range, weapon system or technology project readiness for testing and advising senior government personnel on test readiness, preparing status reports and briefing for mission execution events, preparing mission execution schedules, logistics coordination and track risks. This role requires a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, science or related field with a minimum of 1 (one) year experience; 5 (five) years of related experience highly desired. Active Secret Clearance; US Citizenship required. Excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products with emphasis on MS Project and/or any other scheduling programs are also required.
