OVERVIEW :
This position can be based out of San Francisco, New York, or remote (we accept candidates from the following states : AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, HI, IL, MA, MI, MN, MT, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, TX, UT, WA, WI ).
We are seeking a Lead Front-end Engineer who combines deep technical expertise with strong product thinking to drive forward our enterprise Payments Operations product . In this role, you will define and execute the technical vision for front-end infrastructure and UI while working closely with engineering, product, and design teams to deliver tangible, customer-focused outcomes.
As a key technical leader in our engineering organization, you will balance hands-on technical execution with strategic decision-making to ensure scalability, developer efficiency, and a world-class user experience. You will serve as the DRI for all UI / FE engineering efforts and jump in to move product initiatives forward when needed.
This role requires someone who understands not only the "how" of building exceptional front-end systems but also the "why" behind product decisions and user needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Technical Leadership & Product-Driven Execution
- Drive the Front-End Vision : Own the front-end and UI technical vision, ensuring infrastructure and architecture align with product priorities and business goals.
- Product Partnership : Actively collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to translate product requirements into scalable, high-performing front-end solutions.
- Hands-On Execution : Lead by example by jumping into critical product development efforts to unblock teams, deliver value, and drive projects forward.
