Store Manager

Modern Warriors is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our Franklin, TN location. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 - 5 years of management experience and a strong background in the firearms industry. This role requires a hands-on leader who can oversee daily operations, drive sales, ensure compliance with all firearm regulations, and foster a team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support store staff, ensuring top-tier customer service.
• Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
• Oversee daily store operations, including sales, inventory, and range management.
• Ensure strict adherence to all ATF, state, and federal firearm laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records for firearm and NFA transactions.
• Oversee range safety protocols and procedures with Range Manager.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and industry professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of management experience, preferably in retail, firearms, or a related industry.
• Experience with ATF compliance, Form 4473 processing, and firearm sales regulations.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Strong sales, inventory management, and operational efficiency experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and legally handle firearms.
• Proficient in GSuite/Microsoft and ability to learn inventory systems.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and walk up or down stairs/ladders.
• High school diploma/GED required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with POS and inventory management systems (CoreWARE, BigCommerce, or similar).
• Prior firearms instructor or range safety officer certification.
• Knowledge of Tennessee state firearm laws.
