Responsibilities:
- Supervise, plan, organize and administer the daily operations of the Agency Contract department.
- Instruct, answer questions, delegate and review the work of the department to ensure efficient, timely and accurate work processing.
- Develop, update, recommend improvements and coordinate departmental systems and procedures.
- Act as a liaison with Information Technology for technical changes.
- Comply with, support and enforce policies and procedures.
- Communicate and maintain good rapport with colleagues, staff and the field leadership.
- Inform the department manager of progress, issues, problems and successes.
- Develop and maintain a positive and professional work environment.
- Develop and maintain a well-trained staff.
- Challenge others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor.
- Participate in department and Modern Woodmen projects and committees as assigned.
What we need:
- Bachelor’s degree required and five years related experience required.
- LOMA Fellowship.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with internal staff and field leadership.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with peers, employees, management and field leadership.
- Strong leadership abilities to coach employees to accomplish department goals and related tasks including recruiting, selecting, training, motivating, and managing employee performance.
What we offer:
- Pay: The annual pay range for this position is $70,000-$80,000. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.
- Work Arrangements: This is a full-time hybrid position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7:00AM-9:00AM. Hybrid positions work at least 3 days in office and the remaining days each week working from home. Employees beginning to work in a new hybrid role will be asked to work on-site (5 days a week) during the initial training period which may be up to one year.
