The Role
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in advancing Moderna's B2B eCommerce capabilities. Reporting to the Senior Director of eCommerce, you will lead the execution of initiatives that align with the long-term strategic vision for our digital platform. You will drive innovation and operational excellence to meet the unique demands of the pharmaceutical industry while supporting Moderna's growing product portfolio.

Here's What You'll Do
Strategic Execution and Innovation:
- Contribute to the development and execution of Moderna's B2B eCommerce strategy, aligned with the vision set by the Senior Director of eCommerce.
- Drive the annual eCommerce development plan to support Moderna's five-year strategic vision and digital transformation goals.
- Identify and implement cutting-edge digital solutions to address the specific needs of healthcare professionals and organizations.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Collaborate with IT/Digital, sales, and customer service teams to ensure an exceptional and seamless eCommerce experience.
- Act as a strategic advisor across functional teams, promoting alignment on key initiatives and delivering cohesive results.
Customer and Market Insights:
- Leverage data analytics to monitor customer behavior and market trends, shaping eCommerce initiatives that drive engagement and growth.
- Build and nurture relationships with industry partners, suppliers, and distributors to enhance Moderna's eCommerce impact.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure all eCommerce operations comply with relevant pharmaceutical industry regulations and quality standards.
Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of eCommerce initiatives.
- Provide actionable insights to the Senior Director to inform future strategic decisions.
Budget and Resource Optimization:
- Collaborate on budget management, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to maximize ROI and achieve strategic goals.
Continuous Improvement:
- Lead initiatives to enhance platform functionality and scalability, ensuring Moderna's eCommerce platform remains competitive and innovative.
- Foster a culture of innovation by integrating best practices and promoting continuous improvement.
Here's What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
- A minimum of 8 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity focusing on digital marketing and eCommerce.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B eCommerce strategies.
- In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong industry relationships.
