Director of Restoration

Modernistic of Michigan is looking for a Director of Restorationfor Property Damage Services across the state of Michigan. Modernistic is Michigan's trusted choice for flood and fire restoration and mold remediation. Serving businesses and homeowners alike for 50 years and counting, Modernistic has grown into a multi-location operation covering the bulk of Michigan's lower peninsula with over 200 team members.

What the Role Entails

• Overseeing the Restoration Staff - Estimator/Project Managers, Claims Coordinators, and Restoration Technicians
• Process development & implementation
• Industry networking, relationship building, and referral network development
• Developing an executing the sales strategy for all lines of restoration services
• Solving high-level customer concerns
• Delivering top line revenue and gross profit margin results
• Interacting with leaders from other departments to reduce friction points and solve issues
• Serving as a member of Modernistic's Leadership Team - the steering committee for the organization
  
  

Requirements

• 4 Years Restoration Industry experience required
• 4 Years Leadership/Management Experience (preferably managing team members across locations)
• 2 Years Experience with Xactimate is required
• IICRC certifications in WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT are a plus, but not required
• Experience with OSHA safety regulations is required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
• Outstanding people skills are a must
• Fully proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel (PowerPoint is a plus)
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus, but not required
• Experience with MICA is a plus, but not required
• A Builder's License is a plus, but not required
• Willing to do some travel (mostly within Michigan 2 out-of-state conferences/year)
