ModernMind Counseling Wellness is a group mental health counseling practice located in Dilworth / Midtown area of Charlotte, NC. We are looking to grow our virtual team (with the possibility of 1-2 days with in office availability in the future). We work with adolescents (14 ) and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders / disordered eating, body image, self worth, trauma, relationship issues, life transitions etc and are looking for a team member who aligns with our values and mission as company.

Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist at ModernMind Counseling & Wellness in Charlotte, NC. The role involves providing quality therapeutic services to clients in an outpatient setting, completing required documentation in timely manner, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support clients' mental well-being.
This position is a W-2 employee role. Compensation is based on licensure, experience, certifications / qualifications and time with the company.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling or Psychology
- Must be licensed in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); Will consider Associate license with at least 1 year experience of providing therapy (outside of internships)
- Experience in individual and group therapy sessions
- Experience with eating disorder population is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques
