TITLE : Service Apprentice
REPORTS TO : Service Foreman
JOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS :
The Service Apprentice is an entry level position that has limited to no experience or knowledge in the HVAC industry. This position is responsible for the less technical service call and diagnostics work on the job site such as carrying equipment, assisting in the Service Technician on site and maintaining the cleanliness of the site. Performs a variety of duties assigned to them to support the Service Department.
- Assist with all related commercial service calls efficiently and accurately.
- Know how to establish customer rapport to ensure highest levels of satisfaction.
- General knowledge of HVAC applications and design preferred but not required.
- Support the Service Technician in maintaining a clean, organized job site.
- Present as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
- Perform all work in a safe manner.
- Participate actively in all formal exercises and on-the-job training
- Field experience in construction or similar field is a plus.
- Mechanical ability is a plus.
- Work to increase personal growth and knowledge of HVAC applications.
- Self-starter, high energy level.
This is a safety-sensitive position
Pay Range : $20 per hour
