This position is primarily responsible for directing and coordinating activities of production in processing materials or manufacturing products in an industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities :
- Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan shop operations.
- Ensures that the shop is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Trains employees; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
- Provides excellent customer service and resolves any customer complaints or issues.
- Develops and implements sales strategies to increase revenue.
- Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
- Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
- Ensures that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
