1st and 2nd Shift Production Forklift Operator

Production Material Handler

Responsibilities:

• Receive raw materials or finished goods into facility or department, move to inbound storage area
• Gather parts, raw materials or finished goods
• Gather finished orders for movement to outbound shipping area
• Ensure items are correctly labeled and free of defects
• Accurately complete all paperwork associated with the position
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, hand cart or dolly to move materials from one area to another
• Maintain equipment in proper working order, routine preventative maintenance as necessary
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping; remove scrap, pallets, cardboard, etc.
• Other duties as assigned my leadership

General Work Requirements:

• Experience with RF scan gun and system is desirable
• Must be able to work and operate a forklift safely in a fast-paced environment
• Multi-tasking will be required
• Must have previous material handling experience. Shift and weekend overtime flexibility is required.

Physical environment/working conditions:

• The position is in the factory and could involve sitting, standing, walking, and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
• Ability to lift up to 20lbs
