Financial Business Analyst with Fortune 500 Bank

Akkodis is seeking a Financial Business Analyst/Product Owner for a contract position with our Fortune 500 banking client.

Rate: $60-$63.50/hr W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Location: Can sit in either Plano, TX or Atlanta, GA

Overview:

This Product Manager position will be part of the Strategy, Analysis and Design team for Treasury data management.

Main responsibilities include the following but not only limited to these:

• Product Management (PM) is responsible for the Program Backlog.

• Responsible for identifying Customer needs, documenting requirements/features and prioritizing Epics/Features.

• Work closely with design team on solution architect and provide the business support.

• Work with PO to provide support on feature team.

• Maintain PI objectives created by teams during the PI Planning and map them to iteration goals.

• Provide support on the engagement requests - understanding high level ask and provide estimation for the effort collaborating with other team members.

Required Skills:

• 5 years of Business Analysis experience

• Experience with Agile tools like Jira

• Deep financial domain expertise. Candidate must have 5 years of domain expertise in Treasury Products: DDA, Client Liquidity, Payments, Receivables, Billing and Trade Finance.

• Understanding of Banking and Treasury Value Chain.

• Proficient in articulating the business problem and the technical solution. Must have the finesse to navigate within a large organization to influence big decision makers and win trust using people skills and technology knowledge

• Proficient with eliciting business requirements, reviewing process flows, developing technical / system flows

• Comfortable with reviewing technical designs, providing feedback and confirmation of alignment to desired capabilities

• Deep understanding of Master Data Management Principles and Applications

Must have:

• Financial domain knowledge (wires, deposits, payments)

• Bank Treasury experience

• Relational database experience (SQL or Oracle database)

• Technology experience/familiarity. Need someone to understand data movement

Desired Skills:

• Strong record of initiative-taking and leadership in a work setting.

• Strong experience supporting technical delivery.

• Experience in Agile Methodology preferably Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively - both verbally and in writing
