Akkodis is seeking a Program Project Manager for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid). Responsibilities include overseeing all projects within the program, ensuring timelines and milestones are met, and proactively managing risks, issues, and dependencies (RAIDs).
Rate Range: $52/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Program Project Manager Job Responsibilities Include
- Taking end-to-end ownership of the program and ensuring successful delivery of all projects within the program.
- Overseeing multiple projects, ensuring timelines, milestones, and quality standards are met.
- Identifying, managing, and reporting risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID).
- Collaborating with project managers to monitor progress, address challenges, and provide necessary support.
- Preparing and presenting weekly status reports to stakeholders.
- Removing obstacles and influencing teams to ensure projects are progressing as planned.
- Maintaining clear communication across multi-disciplinary teams, locations, and time zones.
- Ensuring alignment with business goals and project deliverables, particularly in financial markets and risk analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- 8 years in program/project management, with experience in Market Risk or Global Markets technology.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, market risk, and exposure to financial/product control functions within a bank.
- Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Jira, MS Project, SharePoint, and MS Excel, with experience in Agile methodologies.
