Akkodis is seeking a Voice Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ/Richmond, VA/Chicago, IL (Hybrid). You will be responsible for engineering, certifying, and troubleshooting audio and video conferencing applications from lab to production.
Rate Range: $70/hour to $73/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Voice Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
- Engineering, certifying, and troubleshooting audio and video conferencing applications from lab to production.
- Analyzing audio and video messaging, flow, and quality using packet capture and analysis software such as Wireshark.
- Integrating and supporting collaboration platforms like Webex, Zoom, MS Teams, and Skype.
- Ensuring seamless deployment of application clients to physical and virtual user devices.
- Collaborating with leadership and customers to ensure high-quality service and technical solutions.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in audio and video conferencing engineering or a similar technical role.
- In-depth knowledge of audio/video conferencing platforms such as Cisco Telepresence, Cisco Call Manager, and Compunetix.
- Experience with packet capture and analysis tools like Wireshark and integration of collaboration platforms like Webex, Zoom, and MS Teams.
