What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Steel Welder position at MODLOGIQ, Inc?
A Welder is a skilled, knowledgeable, and certified craftsman who is responsible for positioning, aligning, fitting, welding, installing, erecting, dismantling, bolting and/or repairing steel structures and other similar sub-assemblies using different types of welds, utilizing the proper tools, equipment and materials for the various tasks required for all phases of the steel construction processes of a project from start to completion, whether it is a part, sub-structure and/or a complete building structure or project, in order to deliver a quality project in a given time limit, per plans, following our Method of Construction, quality and safety standards while working side by side with the welding foreman, weld shop supervisor, other welders, sub-trades and other construction team members and is responsible and accountable for his quality, accuracy, and performance of work. A Welder/Level I is at times a back-up level position for the Welding Foreman and will on occasion need to be prepared to take charge of a task or project for a short duration.
